Info on air fare, and lodging in NYC, close to the Gray line?

Want to visit the arrtactions and go to a Broadway show, we count on being there abour 4 nights, there are 2 of us

You can stay anywhere in NYC as the subway will get you where you want to go quickly. However if you really feel the need to stay close, you need to stay in midtown (times square area). The Gray line has manned stops all over town, you don't need to stay near anyone of them in particular.
