No. Few men are truly humorous, be they rich or poor. The rich man would probably get more polite smiles than laughter if he wasn't really funny.

Well, I think the "poor man" doesn't live to impress anyone, just to make himself happy, and the "rich man" is always primping his image, so those bathroom jokes he's aching to tell get stifled. He may only tell the more sophisticated jokes to help his image. Put a clean suit (new or old) on a poor man, give him a limited list of jokes, and that same woman will be none the wiser. It's all about self-awareness and image.

A good sense of humor is exactly that. The rich/poor issue does not come into play. You are either funny or you are not. If you are not funny, I will not laugh, I do not care how much or how little money you have....

Honestly, money is probably the last thing I think about when I'm talking to a guy. Being rich or poor has nothing to do with me liking a guy. Honestly. Personality, looks, values, futures plans...all that comes before a guy's financial situation. If you're funny, I'll laugh. That's it.

If a woman is not interested in a guy, she'll think just about anything he does is annoying. But if she IS interested in a guy, she'll worship his dirty underwear, especially if he's wealthy or very good-looking.

Him being poor would have nothing at all to do with his sense of humour.
If he was funnier than the other guy, I'm going to want to hang with him more.
I love a crazy, zany sense of humour...it's very attractive.

I don't. It doesn't matter if your poor or rich. If your funny I am going to get a good laugh until my stomach hurts.

I think that you hit on something. If you make a good first impression, then she will like almost anything that you do. If you accidentally make a bad first impression (or she is just in a bad mood) then everything that you say or do will be misinterpreted as something insulting or irritating; you cannot win at that point.
