During the time I was growing up I couldn't do anything to please my mother. She would yell, scream, slap, hit us with her shoes or whatever was handy. She was an angry person. The punishment was a life of torture and dread. I was in the hospital at 12 years old with a bleeding ulcer that they found when I tried to O.D. At one time she told me she hated a g.d.thief and a g.d. liar and she though I was both. Then she hit me with the back of her hand and almost knocked me off of the porch we were on. Apparently I haven't forgotten it and yes it still bugs me. When I got the call that she was dead, I hung up and looked at my husband and said "well she can never hurt me again". I was wrong. She didn't leave me the things she had promised me she would in her will. It is just material "stuff" but she promised it to me. That is OK though, I have better than what she would have left anyway.

my mother and I don't always get along like most, I am now 37 and had to move back in with my mom and yes she to this day yells at me for small insignigfignat things I do harbor alot of feeling about it but I try to remember I can't change how she is not even telling her exactly how I feel will change her it goes so far she tries to tell me where and when I can spend my money, and tells people ringing up the sale she don't let me carry my money and that she has to tell me what I can buy, she tries to tell me what I can and can't wear and yes it bugs the hell out of me I do say things sometimes but I need a place to live so I bite my tounge most days as far as punishment she can't do nothing these days but I used to get grounded quite alot mostly from going to my dad's house but just to say one of my stories that's hard to do I have to read between the lines with my mom

Alright.

Last Saturday i was at some place. I put on music up too loud on my phone and i enjoyed listening to it. I listen to it and i just enjoyed it. So there was this guy, who told me to put it down in a really rude manner. I did not appreciate it so i argued with him about it but i did put it down. The argument was quiet and i continued talking to him. He then saw my mom and told him. When my mom discovered that.. She was as mad as hell. We had a big brawl at home and she took my mobile phone and MP3 player. She took whatever i had and was threatening to sell it. At my age, this punishment is not normal or even right! After that i said some hurtful stuff to her and made her cry pretty bad.. It still bugs me because my mom doesn't talk to me anymore and she told everyone, her sister and my dad who i don't live with. It's ridiculous. I hate the punishment. When i was little, my mom used to hit me and stuff if i did something wrong and take everything away from me. I am old enough to just take care of myself. I argued with the guy because i don't like being told what to do, and in my mom's Sudanese culture, she says it is wrong to argue with people older than you. I hope rots in hell and i can't wait to graduate and then get out of this dump!

Yelling is all my mother did! When I was around 12 years of age, it was my turn this day to do the dishes...my mother made it very clear that everything had to be washed. On the stove was a pot of cooking oil. I didn't know what to do with it and so, I tipped it down the sink (I realise now that you don't do that sort of thing). Anyway, she went balistic because it wasn't old oil...my dad gave me money to buy a replacement bottle....mum threw it at us and treated me like crap for the next week....she told my dad I was always getting away with stuff and so, she beat the living daylights out of me.

I am sooo glad I grew up and left home!

I did the slightest thing told some little kid to stop writing on our wall. The little kid run to his mum and dad and told them i had shouted at him and threatened him then they come round told my mum and dad what the child had said i got a bollocking and grounded for 2 weeks, and it still bugs me becuase the parents still think i did it.
O and another was me, my sister and my nextdoor neighbour friend were in my nextdoor neighbour house and her friend lite a candle and threw it on the curtains because the wax was hot. The curtains blew into flames in under a second i picked the candle up of the floor as it was burning the carpet and my neighbours mum walked in the bedroom and shouted at me becuase i had a hold of the candle. How bad is that!

It will haunt me for the rest of my life. MY parents always yelling has traumatized me, now that im married, i cant have the tv on loud or there cant be much noise or i will get annoyed and nervous. Well my mom would yell and bang on our doors at 6 am for us to wake up, she would litereally bang the shiit out of our doors and the walls so that the noise would wake us up and she would yell " WAKE UP YOU LAZY FU**" BUT IN Spanish cus my momma is mexican. I was like 16 and i worked and went to school and i dont think i was lazy. well a little bit, but it wasnt enough to wake up from ur dream with a hammering voice. I hate them for that.

Well, I was ten, my sister was 13, and she told me to go down to the freezer and get something for dessert, so I ended up bringing up peaches. Weirdness, they were frozen, haha. So my sister put them in the microwave and warmed them up, guess she forgot about them, cuz about 10 minutes maybe more later, my mom found them, and she freaked out on me for planning to eat them, and I said no, my sister wanted them and asked me to bring them up, and she said no i didn't, then aparently because I lied, I was made to sit and eat them all, and I didn't want them, and it was so embarrasing. They were good though, haha.
Another time I got spanked for scratching my sisters name into the side of the truck, when she did that herself too.
And when I was 4 I got in trouble because my sisters colored on the side of the dresser, higher than I could even reach, and they said oh she got a chair and did it. I got in alot of trouble when I was little, cuz my sisters were bigger, and its true, they alway blame it on the baby and most of the time they do get away with it. And another time I was bit by a boy cuz I took my toy back from him, and I bit him back, I got smacked on the mouth with a spatula.
Yup, I remember all those things and more, and I am now 23, the memories still make me want to slap my sisters.

I can tell you what I did with my daughter and today it still bothers me a lot. I had some money that can up missing and my two daughters where in the house playing all that day. So when I came in I saw that the money I had laying on my dresser was missing, so I went and asked my girls if they had picked it up and they said no, well I let it go, until the next day when I was cleaning house and found it laying out side next to the swing. I again asked my girls if they took my money outside and one said no and the other one said she saw her sister take it outside. So I started yelling and grounded my daughter. Two weeks latter my other daughter was laughing in her room at her sister and I found out she was the one who took the money and put it out by the swing. I was so mad that I didn't listen to my other daughter. I tried to make it up to her by taking her shopping and out to dinner, but to this day I still feel bad.
