What do you do about what? You gave no details or expressed no problem or issue. How old are you? How old is he? As long as you are both over 18, what you do is your business, even if the age gap is great...

Not sure what all the issues are or how much older, but sometimes it can work and sometimes it can't. It depends on the 2 people honestly. I've dated a man 11 yrs older than me when I was 18, and it didn't work out. He was crazy and possessive. And some men are like that when they're dating a younger woman. You just have to know what signs to look for. How old are you? If its statutory rape (meaning, your under 18 and he's over) then its going to be a BIG problem. Most of the time older men date younger women so that they can feel younger or simply because they feel they can control a younger woman.

Unless you're older than about 22 I'd say forget about the relationship ever happeneing. Your personality will change completely when you become 22 - you probably won't even be interested in him OR many of the other things you were interested in before. It's not worth the headache. Just focus on being young and having fun.
If you're older than 22 - do whatever your heart tells you.

How much older? My wife is 10 years older than I am, and we've been married for over 8 years now. It doesn't have to matter...of course, if you're under 18, and he's anything over 18, you have no choice except to not go out until you are both in the majority.

Age gaps can and will cause problems, but they are not necessarily the end of the relationship. I'm 21 and my fiance is 46. We've had our fair share of problems, including not seeing eye-to-eye on matters, simply because of how young I am. The ONLY thing that has kept us on our feet and in our heads is our insane love for one another; we have no choice but to solve the problems, because we can't be without the other. Decide if that's what's going on with you two. If you aren't having any problems, then forget about it, go about life and be happy.

You didn't say how much older, but for most people age doesn't matter. So what is the real problem?.

You knew how old he was before you fell in love with him and you made the decision to still date him, ls what do you mean about "What should I do?" You should keep on dating him is what you should do. It was something that brought you two together and unless something is wrong I suggest you stay together because the dating scene is getting harder everyday..

Well, if you are like 10 and he is like 25, then you can tell your parents... and he can go to jail, cause that is where sick people like that belong.
But, if you are like 16 or so... and he is maybe like 21 or so, then that really aint that big of a deal. (16 is legal age in New Hampshire where I'm from)
Ages would help in this question though... maybe update sometime soon...... :)

If you love him then his age wouldnt even be important to you,it would be the last tthing that you would worry about. But i would worry if he could go to jail over being with you.But if what yall are doing is legal then you shouldnt worry about his age,his love is all that matters. So as long as he is showing you love and affection then you should be o.k.
