Adam and Eve were not the only humans created. An indepth study of the the original Hebrew scriptures shows that mankind was created on day six and told to go "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth" (Gen 1:28). At some point after the seventh day, God created Adam and "put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it." (Gen 2:15). Again at a later point Eve was created.

I wrote an an article about this a few years ago which has been published in various places on the internet. Rather than publish it again here or even to attempt to summerize it, I'd rather give you the option of reading it only if you choose to. The URL for my blog, where I also have it posted, is listed below as a reference.

Whose to say that "Adam and Eve" were the only created humans? But supposing that they were, I believe that the "sons of God" (Genesis 6) had something to do with the population increase. After the flood, only one pure human bloodline existed, Noah's and his three sons. The three sons are the three basic races of humankind: Caucasion, *******, and Mongoloid. At the Tower of Babel when the languages were confused, the three families separated. And in the days of Peleg the land was divided (Genesis 10:25), meaning Pangea spread out.

As for dogs and cats, the different breeds are due to humans selectively breeding them. Discovery Channel just had a special on this not too long ago, in regards to dogs.

Someone hasn't been studying...
The Bible doesn't say that Adam and Eve were the ONLY ones on the planet. They were the only ones in Eden.
Would God be promoting incest if the whole world consisted of Adam, Eve, Cain, and Able?
Please don't follow any religion blindly. Make sure you know all about what you believe in.

um, just a thought not that it could even be scientifically true, I don't know anything about DNA. But could it be possible that they had the perfect DNA of all races. Like if it were possible to mix all races into one person today? Eventually with inbreeding traits would stand out more. It would be okay for inbreeding because the DNA was so diverse in the first place. People being in different parts of the world would just be people moving and only having the people they are with to marry and have babies with.

If you read the Bible in Genisis it explains that on the sixth day God created all the races and on the 8th day he created Adam and Eve. He needed a gardener for Eden and didn't have one so Adam was created in God's image

No, hon, god did not create adam and eve.... that story originated in Babylon, and was copied into the writings of the starving group of middle eastern sheep herders called the tribe of Israel...

I find it amazing how little people know about the bible, yet take is as truth. Do some studying, hon. Take some college courses in comparative religions.............

Your ignorance is showing

Because he wanted to,again we are not to question God in all his wisdom. He knew how to change color just the way he wanted it to be,,, I am quite sure in any one family,, not every one is the exact same shade of any color.Or they do not all sound just the same do they?As they ventured farther and farther away they changed. And climate had a lot to do with the shade of their skin, hot dry sunny all the time dark skinned people,so they could survive,,middle eastern people. Cold damp wet climates light fair skinned people, not getting much sun western people..
