The way you spelled "sole" refers to the bottom of your feet -- not your spiritual "soul." so maybe the devil needed some new soles (feet bottoms) since it's so hot down there!

ps You must believe in him (Satan, devil etc) or you wouldn't think you sold him anything! Maybe you need to do a little more thinking and researching to figure out just what you do believe in!

In a way we all did. The Bible tells us all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that the wages of sin is death (you can read that in Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23 in the Bible). Since we have all sinned we have all in effect sold or more really given the devil our souls and there is no way we can get them back on our own. We don't have to believe in the devil to have him running over us and trying to dish out his hell in our lives. That is the really bad news.

The really good news is that Jesus Christ came and died for us to pay the price to get us back from the devil and give us eternal life.

Well even the Devil likes a good fish from time to time...

I'm not a big sole fan myself, I'm more of a salmon guy

As long as you sold your "sole" you're fine. It's your "soul" you should be concerned with. Just...wear a combat boot or something to keep your sole from doing crazy evil things.

That's ok. I heard that the devil wears Prada.

Track and Field participants prove that these ARE the times which try men's soles.

The problem with selling your sole to the devil is all the scuff and burn marks you get on your feet.

I know Who can buy it back for you. Your SOUL, that is. I doubt the devil takes much interest in the bottom of your tennis shoe.

I don't believe in Al Gore, either, but if I signed a contract with him, I'd be bound to fulfill it...

Good thing the devil is into old shoes.

Do you suppose he sniffs them?

No problem, you sold your "sole", not your soul.
