Because the interaction between the mankind and the environment should be more positive. For the moment we are using the resources in a non reasonable way and disrupting the balance in the environment which is in turn threatening us.
So its really in our own advantage.

so its also a question of justice

If we want to live in a place full of life. Like animals and vegetables, fruits, flowers and human life, we need to take care of our planet. That is why we all should make a resolution of going green...help our planet help us! Go green and there will be a lot of life to go around for each one of us!!

I'm not a hardcore environmentalist or "save the planet" type person but I also try my best to make sure that I don't harm the planet & also to make it better when I can so that my kids & grandkids can enjoy the same beautiful earth I do.

Just thing about it what is the colour of money? the last time I look at many currency the most common colour is just that green.

To help make the Earth a better place! And so my great grandchildren can actullay enjoy outside stuff like baseball, gardening, and camping! Because if we don't do something now they won't be able to enjoy it later!!!

I've been "greener" for the past forty + years than Mr. Gore has ever been. It is a way of life not a fashion statement.
