None. Paid 600 bucks for it.
Just because there might be a price drop in the future doesn't mean that you're getting the same PS3 that was available at launch. It's possible that Sony will do a price drop this holiday season, but it might remove the graphic synthesizer and the emotion engine to make it cheaper. So, instead of having true backward compatibility, you might be getting the same thing that the 360 is getting, software emulation, which I think sucks because it takes a while before all the games before truly backward compatible, if at all.

The price doesn't bug me so much as there really isn't that many great games to play on it right now. That will just take time. Sad part is that many good games are still coming out for PS2, so I have no desire to upgrad just yet.

If you can't afford the PS3 than you can't afford the HD TV, The blue ray movies nor just about anything to support it.
It's an adult system, not for the leet hax kiddies that want to blow away their buddies on halo2 and whine about people wanting to buy one on here.
So, a price reduction isn't really going to help anyone out that can't afford it as it is.

I already paid $652.87 all together for mine (still got the reciept he he) no need for another one but I would buy one for my Sister if they brought the price down to at least $500 for the 60GB cuz shes been wanting one

I heard a rumour when the price drops it will be 499. Which I would buy it when i have the money.Because and elite is 479.99 and doesnt even include an hd dvd drive.

please dont buy a ps3 for now ,wait for an year and you will see some "really close to reality "kinda games ,as it will take the developers an year atleast to optimise the game fully so that it uses the ps3 hardware to its max to bring you something not even the xbox can match ,so go get a ps2 (which is dirt cheap )for now for just a 100$. the ps2 still has a few years .
