I can tell you what works for me. I don't know if you go to church or have a community of people to communicate with. But you need others around you for encouragement and support right now. If you have faith, it will bring you through. Other things that help is that you also need to know yourself well enough to know when it is time to move back from people. Sometimes you need to be alone to collect your own thoughts. Exercise is a good release. Do it everyday. Reading a good book can also help. Take time out to relax your mind and your body in whatever way that works for you.
I always remember that each day holds its own problems. So, I take one day at a time. You can't do anything about yesterday, nor tomorrow, so live in the day to fullest and always keep a good attitude.

take some time away even if you go for a long walk alone. Take one day at a time. When it rains it pours. You have no control over others. Their drug problems are just that, their problems. You cant let them bring you down. Just do what you can to succeed and keep your head up!!! Good Luck

Just take a few hours to yourself everyday. Go sit at the park, go for a bike ride, or just go for a walk. If you are frustrated RUN! I write a lot when there are major changes in my life. I write a lot of poetry, it feels better when you get your feelings out on paper. When you are online, read poetry. Unfortunatly other peoples writings kind of cheer me up when i read that their lives are a lot worse than mine. If picks up your spirit though. Good luck, just keep your head up, things will turn around.

*Well I go to the gym and work my butt off to the point of exhaustion......literally.

.Or I will go drive around, I know it sounds silly but I will just drive wherever and maybe just go park somewhere and just sit there for awhile. (SOMETIMES that helps)

.And sadly sometimes I do resort to alcohol...it's a temporary numbness to what is going on, but it seems right at the time.

...I think the gym is probably my biggest stress buster though, because everytime I leave there I feel so much better.

....sorry to hear things aren't going so well on your end right now though, I hope they start to look up soon :):) I'm here for ya.

1. take a count of what is making me stressed.
2. try and put a plan into perspective as to how i can work it out
3. talk to a good friend or relative
4. plan a night out to get my mind off things
5. have a glass of wine and go to bed and know in the morning that i need to work things out
6. know that life is too short, so do what you can do

I'd think happy thoughts... go out with my friends, get drunk and live life to the fullest... den wen Im all done for, I'll try to think things through. Cause there, you'd know what to do ... your head would be clearer by then.....

I of course turn my personal stress over to God and go do something I like, he gives it back after I've destresed but its nice to hand it over when the load becomes to heavy. Pray keeps me in check. I trust him to guide me thru troubled waters.

Disconnect yourself for a while- talk a long soapy bath while hearing instrumental music, light on some candles that smells really good and close your eyes- I am sure you will unwind and feel much better after-wards. :-)

I am not trying to be insensitive but "taking care of yourself" is a great stress reliever.
