He has had these before, got off meds, and just recently started being extremely worried about me, convinced that I am going to be robbed, hit by a tornado, or a bulldozer (not sure where that came from). He previously never came for a visit, now he comes over at least 2 times a day, He did get back on meds, and hoping they will start working. But how do I reassure him that I am alright, that nothing is happening to me? Thanks for all help

Right now, nothing you can say will make him any less worried about you. The best thing you can do is be patient and understanding while the medication gets adjusted. I know it can be very tedious to have to keep telling him that you are okay, but the worst thing you can do is try to push him away. He needs the support right now. Is it possible for you to ask him to stay with you for a few days? That way you can monitor his medication schedule and he can see that you are okay.

Well maybe he just has expreienced this in a dream or like knows that it is going to happen im not saying that it is going to happen but know that it will be hard to accept if it was a mental health problem so just try to say that your ok in a reassuring way so he believes that and stops questioning it! Good Luck xXx

He is feeling insecure, and seems to have a touch of obsessive compulsive disorder....and you cannot reassure him, after all, you could concievably die unexpectedly tomorrow, none of us have a crystal ball on that score. His problem is that he obsesses about the possibilities. All you can do is be there for him. Once his medications kick in, and time has proven that you are indeed alright, things should calm down.

There is really not much you can do except wait for the medication to start in. All your reassurances aren't going to help him. Just try and be patient.
