My Acrobat (PDF format) doesn't recognize my fonts, can this be fixed?

I downloaded some new fonts and used them with powerpoint and publisher for a project. However, when I print them to pdf, there's an error. I changed all the fonts to Arial, so I know it's the fonts causing me trouble. Is there anyway I can fix this. Also, I have Adobe Acrobat 4.0. Thanks.

under adobe fonts...add the new fonts to adobe's font collection
