Who cares? I dated a 30 year old when
I was 19. If you guys like each other, then
what's he big deal? It seems as if guys
can get away with anything, especially
dating older women, and if we do it it's
because they have a lot of money.

Don't listen to anyone. He and I had a great
relationship, the only thing that split us apart
was me going to college.

At first, it'll be uncomfortable because of what
everyone else thinks. But society seems to
be becoming less conservative about that
sort of thing.

You'll hit hurdles because of the fact that he's
had more experience, but you need to sit
down and talk to him about the potential
dangers of him treating you as ignorant.
It's going to happen, so just get that out of
the way and you'll be fine.

I wish you the best of luck. Just go for it.

Time is one of those things that plays tricks on you.

There is a great deal of difference between 18 and 28, yet there isn't nearly as much difference between 28 and 38.

That's because wisdom and experience and knowledge are cumulative.

That said, you're awfully young to be dating an older man - just yet. You still have college, a career, travel ling, other friends to make, other men to meet. Why limit yourself to just one person at this time?

Of course, if it's "THE ONE" then who am I to argue.

I'd just give it more time. Again, there's not nearly the difference between 28 and 38 as there is between 18 and 28.

Maybe, but have fun anyway. It's more about where you are in life than how many times you've been around the sun. If you have different goals for the next few years of life, it could be trouble. If he likes going to bars, he might get frustrated that he can't go with you. But if you two are happy together, there is no reason to be apart. (I doubt you'll end up married, but this could still be a positive experience for both of you.)

It all depends on your perception. More than the age difference, what matters is exposure and life experience. These two things, doesn't come easy.

It takes lot of hardships to earn exposure and life experience. So he's more an advantage than thinking anything about age stuff.

age difference dont affect love if both of u have the same level of mature n thinks e same way. but this kinda of relationship maybe abit difficult to work out. but if u're sure u love him to death the dont think so much. u can be quite young to decide if he's e right one for u. so good luck!

Girl you no the answer otherwise you wouldn't have asked. Enjoy life to your potential not someone else. It's not that he is too old it's that you are not old enough to realize no disrespect but he knows this and he's taking advantage of your youth

No, but you are way too young for him; based on your rationalization that you two LOOK closer to the same age.
