No, God doesn't discriminate. Infant mortality rates are high, because people in underdeveloped countries do not have the modern Labor and Delivery rooms that we have here in the U.S,. Also, they don't have the knowledge of how to save infants born with disease at birth or infants who develop diseases.

Not only does God discriminate against the poor in this life...according to many Christians who believe that you need to know Christ to be saved, that would eliminate a lot of people in underdeveloped countries who have not heard about Christianity. All the Native Americans before Columbus arrived...going to Hell... all the Africans before missionaries got there... going to Hell... Asia...Hell... Heaven is going to be populated by a lot of Europeans.

Yep. It's God. It has nothing at all to do with tribal warmongers, greed, misinformation, poor health services, unclean water, insufficient food, etc. in those countries. Nothing whatsoever to do with PEOPLE. Blame God. And forget that developed nations throw out more food than the people of those unfortunate nations could eat in a year. Or that our government pays farmers to let their land sit unused instead of growing food.
And by all means forget that a big chunk of the aid that reaches those unfortunates does so by way of Christian-based relief organizations, reaching out in Jesus' name.
P.S. Talking Donkey: I'd like to see evidence of any contemporary Christian based relief organization dispensing aid on the condition of conversion. Christians do not watch children die of malnutrition because their parents won't recite the Apostles' Creed. What an idiotic accusation.

It is our duty to care for the poor. The Bible tells us to feed the hungry.
God bless,

Then you have organizations like Planned Parenthood that send these countries condoms. How many people can eat a condom? Why not use the money spent on these condoms on food or on improving living conditions? If we send them condoms instead of food, they are still hungry and will starve to death. If they use condoms they cannot reproduce. It sounds to me like Planned Parenthood wishes to eliminate these people because they are poor instead of helping them improve their quality of life. Is this really what God wants from us, to eliminate the hungry rather than feed them? I think not!!!
