The reason for that question was simple. I just wanted to find out how many Christians know what they are saying. If you have viewed the answers you will know what I mean.
Honestly, I was a Christian, but I am out of it now, no offence to Christians.
After thorough reading and research, I decided to quit cos there is too much confusion in the religion. One example will be the question I posted. Just see the different types of answers from Christians. Isn't it appalling?
If you ask a Jew, who is your God, he will reply you Yahweh immediately. If you ask a Muslim, who is your God, he will reply you Allah immediately.
But, why is it not as straightford in Christianity?
And definitely, I will not buy this story that I have to let Jesus into my heart to understand the meaning. If you are going to preach, I believe that you have to feed Logic into their Minds and the rest will be ez.

The Truth is, they dont know themselves. They think they are versed and clever , but, they are not. The best thing is they dont want to bother to find out. Instead of letting Jesus into their hearts, if only they let in the True Almighty God inside their hearts, they will surely the Light.

Why are you so 'condemning' of these people? Each person has his/her own understanding of the Jesus/God/Holy Spirit 'connection' and they tried to 'tell you' in an honest answer to your question. I believe that the Yahweh of Judaism, the Allah of Islam, and the God of Christians are all 'the same being' ... and I also believe that each of our 'views' of that God is 'accurate' according to our beliefs ... and my 'Catholic view' of the Holy Trinity as God the Father, God the Son (who was Jesus Christ on Earth), and God the Holy Spirit is 'one way' of 'seeing God' ... although I 'know' that God is OUTSIDE OF TIME AND SPACE and since I live in those 'dimensions' I may not be 'seeing' God in the ENTIRETY.

Is Jesus God?. Please let me comment even if I may be late. Jesus is God. How? Consider this point. In your country, whoever is the head of state is also "head" of other strategic national institutions. Eg. GW Bush is President of USA, AND also The Commander-in-Chief of the US Armed Forces.
Even in God's Kingdom, The GOD we refer to, is being addressed in His Capacity as The Creator, or The Beginner of all that is. In this capacity, He HOLY, LOVING and JUST. There are no 2 ways about Him as GOD the Creator. If you lack these qualities you cannot see His Face and live. To introduce the quality of mercy and forgiveness, He comes down and TAKES the form of a Human Being. In this capacity he not only can let us come near Him without judgment, but even lets human kind to humiliate and insult him without

These are the "criteria" for God, set by God himself.

1 Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;
2 Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;
3 He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;
4 And there is none like unto Him.

(Al-Quran, Chapter 112)

1 Corinthians 2:14
The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

"Honestly, I was a Christian, but I am out of it now, no offence to Christians."
No, honestly you werent a Christian. you may have held Christian style doctrine, but you did not trust Jesus as Savior.

via fact the old asserting is going, "Time will tell." you have each actual to think of despite you choose. whether, despite a individual thinks is irrelevant to the choose of God. In time, you're actual, the thought that the Earth advance into flat advance into shown incorrect. So whether you're actual or whether the 1st century Christians with a literalistic approach in direction of the Bible (as myself) are actual, there is one specific thank you to be sure.

i saw no confusion. taking into account that each person who responded to your question is an individual that communicates what they understand the Bible to say in their own individual way...the majority said the same basic thing.
...

and unless Jews and Muslim are not humans, individuals.. they would have the same basic differences and similarities in their answer.
i say this because i have seen recordings of "on the street interviews".

to expect everyone to say the exact same thing to a question... any question... is impossible. e gads.... just browse through any of these "yahoo answers" catagories... what do you see? differences and similarities.

i think that you are being a tad dishonest in your summary.

No religion can have certainty about anything, since all of them have been touched by human hands. However, all I can do is quote you a Bible verse that clearly says Jesus Christ and God are one:

John 10

25Jesus answered, "I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father's name speak for me, 26but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. 27My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. 29My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all[d]; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. 30 I AND THE FATHER ARE ONE."

I am not trying to convince you of anything though, that's what free will is about.

Personally, I think more important than discussing trinity is LOVE, a universal teaching in all religious traditions and the commandment that englobes all the rest in Christianity.
