1 Corinthians 9:20 ---To the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to men under the Law, [I became] as one under the Law, though not myself being under the Law, that I might win those under the Law.

And yet he wrote the LAW is Holy.

Romans 7:12 -- So that the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and righteous, and good.

To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews.

To those that are Muslims I became like one of the Muslims, so as to win those under Islam.

To those that are lawless I became like one not having the law so as to win those that are lawless.

To the weak I became weak, to win the weak.

I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.

I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.

Contradictory and by any means necessary for sure.

Place the two statement back into their context and there is no contradiction. Take one sentence out of a multi-chaptered thesis and it becomes easy to deceive people with it.

In Romans he states that the law is holy. That is a true statement. But then he states that we are not, and do not keep it. That was why Jesus came and fulfilled it instead. We are then saved by faith in what he did.

In 1 Corinthians Paul is stated that when dealing with those who are still trying to live under the law, he uses that same law to show them the truth of Christ. (One of the reason he can do that is that the law is holy, righteous and good, and so points to Christ - just like he stated in Romans 7)

No contradiction in those statements.

Boy U must have stayed up all night to get together a verse here & a verse there to misconstrue. Paul is NOT contradictory in his writings just because U don't want to read things in their context! Are U one who likes others to do Ur work for U, is that what's happening here??? No, that's not it is it??? Ur here to induce strife & show how smart U are (NOT) right??? Paul even wrote to U in Eph. 5:15-17 saying; "Therefore be careful how U walk, not as unwise men, but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are Evil. So then do not be FOOLISH, but understand what the will of the Lord is!" John
