For the same reason that girls have sex and risk pregnancy when they are not committed to a man: stupidity and immaturity.

It takes two to make a baby, a lot of times girls try to get pregnant to keep a boy, while the boy is just in it to win it so if the girl ends up pregnant they hightail it out of the relationship because most boys are too immature to take on the responsiblity.

Because they were only in it for the sex. Once they have what they wanted, they don't need anything more. That's why it's always better to get married and discuss with your husband when you want to start a family rather than having sex with random guys and hoping they'll stick around.
