the fundalmental Mormon, a mormon chruch that broke off from the chruch of jesus christ of latter day saint (mormons or LDS) do practise poligamy, the mormons use to practise poligamy until teh US governement started to arrest, kill or make the Mormons leave the state they were in, in the middle of winter (when there was still open territory). Mormons practise a kind of divorce poligamy, were if they get divorced, they are still married in the temple and when they remarry they are married, in the temple to two women, it may be hard for nonmembers to understand this, its a married in heaven actually that the two women are still married tot he same man, but on earth the first marriage is no longer valid.

Apparently, for the ones who call themselves "Mormons" but really don't have the first clue about how the LDS Church works, they move to the communities of Colorado City, Arizona or Hilldale, Utah.
But members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints do not take more than one wife.

First, they ask to have their names removed from the rolls of the Church. Saves time.
This question, and many versions of it are asked all the time on Y!A.
If a Mormon participates in polygamy, they are excommunicated. Period.
My husband has aunts, uncles and cousins who are "fundamentalist" Mormons. They are all NOT members of the Church, and they wish they could be. They made their own church for their polygamy when they were excommunicated.

No, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints can only have one wife. It doesn't matter what country they live in.

Mormons CAN NOT HAVE MULTIPLE WIVES!!!
This is a rumor. They have 0 to 1 wife.... not more.
It's not like they're sneaking around doing some how....they don't do it. If they do, they get excommunicated, and they're no longer Mormon.
You have been misinformed. Mormons don't have multiple wives.

We do not practice polygamy, and no one is permitted to be a member who practices it. Even in countries where it is legal.
