You may not have heard about it in the media because it was a black on white hate crime instead of the opposite (which would have been all over the news), but a white couple in Knoxville, Tenn were carjacked by 5 blacks. The white man was sodomized and his penis cut off in front of his wife. His wife was brutally raped, and then they were both mutilated and killed.
Now, if you or I saw this happening we would stop it.
God is supposed to see everything, and He did nothing to stop it.
So, the reason has to be one of 3 possible answers.
1. He was unwilling to stop it.
2. He was unable to stop it.
3. God does not exist.
You can spout me all the scripture you want, but in the end, it comes down to one of those explanations.
What do you think?

What about # 4? the law of Karma.
People keep blaming God for everything bad that happens, that is a incomplete understanding of God. We create the evil and good situation in our lives. In this world we are guilty brutal crimes, there are not innocent, we may forget our past crimes, but the law of karma, never forgets. God is aloof from our criminal activities, He is not responsible and He does not interfere in our lives. We create our own evil circumstances.
Why people insist blaming God? And He is not obligated either to stop the evil situations. I know that everyone give the example if the father see something evil is going to happen to his son, he will stop it. But the son has to be corrected in order to become obedient. Who knows how many horribles crimes this couple committed in the past? We are not omniscient. This that not mean that God is insensitive, He feels, therefore He give instruction in different scriptures what we should do and not do, but nobody cares about Him and His instructions and this is the result and put blame on Him.

Please don't blame God for he made us and he put the knowledge into us but everything is for a reason and I am sure those people did suffer a bit (sad) as Jesus did but they are probably walking streets of Gold today without a care or worry in the world and look at us living in this Hell, that is called earth... I don't condone what happened, oh my goodness Nooooo but God is a gr8 God and we must always remember.Everything is for a reason...God Bless !

first of all- I do not blame God for the things that sinful people do. If God had His way at the beginning, we would all live godly lives, because we were born "In His image" however Adam and Eve- and yes, you and I, choose to go our own way. It is horrible about what happened here- however God is not to blame , those 5 people are.

We live in a fallen world. When Adam and Eve made the original choice to ignore God's rules, God turned the world over to man. God gave them what they wanted, now we must live by that decision. The results are what you see today; rape, murder, greed, homosexuality, etc.

Posting this story, and questioning why God does something is an act of the Devil.
People do hateful things, crimes because of free will and being pulled by the Devil.

perhaps these are just things god let be because it would be the only way mankind could learn or this is punishment for the sins of the human race or yet even it could be a test of faith for someone like you.

I'll have to go with #3....God does not exist. This situation, amongst many many many others should have been stopped by the all-seeing eye in the sky, but they weren't. I agree with you 100%. I'm sure you'll hear "God works in mysterious ways".

"Black on white crime instead of the opposite". Whoa that sounds powerfully racist and bigoted to me.

Children are raped and murdered everyday. Either God does not get involved with us here or that couple knew what was going to happen before they came here for this life.

I assume you won't like either of those explanations though.

Can you provide a link to the story, so we can see if it actually happened? I don't blame a God for the things that man does. I'm not sure that there is one.
