If you don't want to limit him to one store you could always go to the bank and get one of those Visa/MC or Amex gift cards they could use any number of places. I was an atypical teenager and might have found something useful at Best Buy but would have loved to run wild at the bookstore. Just a thought.

I don't like the idea of a gift card, to be honest. Even though it may not be meaningful to him now, it's meaningful to you that he was a part of your special day, and the gift should be a token of that appreciation. A gift card seems sort of like a payment.
How about an ipod shuffle if he doesn't have one? You can engrave it with "Thank you" on the back ($80, ipod.com). (Make sure he has a computer he can use to add tunes to the ipod.)
If you do go the gift card route, add a wallet, and fill it with the cards. At 13, he may not have a wallet, but it's about the age when he would start carrying one. A nice wallet is something he can keep for a while. Fossil has some nice, inexpensive men's wallets. http://www.fossil.com/jump.jsp?itemID=2958&itemType=CATEGORY
Ask his parents if there's something special he's been wanting, too.

A 13 year old is not going to be impressed by the normal bridal party gifts so why not get him a gift card to a electronics store like Best Buy or Circuit City.

a gift certificate ...or something else he may like, you can ask the parents if he has a favorite videogame system or game he has been asking for ( $30-60.00 usually). When i was in my cousins wedding everyone got crystal stuff but i got a cute little pearl bracelet so you can gauge it by that - big people gifts are generally boring but he may want to feel included in the whole party.
OR !!!! my best advice yet...
ask his parents what movies he likes, pick a few, throw in a couple boxes of microwave popcorn, big candy bars, and he has an instant sleepover.

It really depends on how much money you want to spend.
For under $50.00 you could get something associated with his favorite sports team (i.e. an autograph plaque or card )
If you can afford more then perhaps some type of gaming system or a game for a system he already has.
Perhaps an ipod as well

A gift card to one of his favorite stores, or ask his parents what he likes or if there is a game he wants and get that.

If he's into sports get him something sports related or a video game if you can afford it. I'm getting my ushers ties and pocket squares to wear the day off, but since he's 13 he might like soemthing laid back.

I agree with getting a gift card to an electronics store or a similar place. At least it will be something he can use!

My son just turned 14 last week. The #1 gift that he received from his peers was itune gift cards. These can be used to download music and videos to cell phones, ipods and m3 players.
