Been reading the new Paul bashing books? Maybe some dead sea scroll "experts" opinions?

There is a warning from Jesus (Matthew 24:24) that in the last days (just before his second coming) there would be deceivers who would deceive even the elect if it was possible. But Paul could not possibly be included in that warning. Wrong time period.

Plus, the letters of Paul were written BEFORE the synopsis gospels were written. The teachings of Paul are reflected in the gospels, with more than a dozen of Paul's phrases repeated in the gospel of Luke.

The gospel of John was written after the letters of Paul. Every event listed in John is intended to refute a heresy or false teacher that appeared by that time (around 95AD). Each is followed by a commentary against the heresies. Yet not a single teaching of Paul is rebuked.

So there is no evidence within the text of the New Testament that the teachings of Paul are deception.
