There are two different ways to go about this. If you want to know whether this person likes you or not in a short amount of time then I would tell them outright. This can be as simple as seeing if they want to hang out sometime. ( they will probably get the picture!) Otherwise you can play hard to get and show a little interest, and then kind of back off when the interest is returned. This will either make them want you more, or they will think you are a tease and give up. I hope this helps, and good luck to you!

Actually, sometimes it is better to play hard to get. Not the little kid way of it, but just not being over-anxious. Sometimes if you try too hard, you could scare the other person away.
Express interest slowly - get to know the person - don't try to jump into dating and a relationship from the word "go".

Too be honnest if someone liked me id rather them tell me, rather then play hard to get. A girl/boy would think why is he/she being like this he/she probly dosnt like me, so its bets to go straight and tell that special person that you like them face to face rather by text or email, or getting your mates to do it. This shows that you are confadent and you like this peron. And the person you tel will be over the moon because you did it face to face and you didnt play hard to get. Some people like it when she/he plays hard to get so its up to you!!

be straight-forward. beating around the bush usually annoys me, like, why don't you just come right up and say it? i mean, if you're going to play hard to get OR be straight to the point, and i dont really like you back, i would still have the same answer. but if i like you back, you might lose some points by playing hard to get. it's really annoying, like you're just flirting and dont have serious feelings. it could really give a guy mixed signals that might blow everything up.

play hard too get so that when u 2 do get together there will be a lot of tension that needs to release........forplay is the best never rush into something unless it's a heat of the moment and don't forget safety lol

i think in order to be perfect u have to use some of both...let them know that ur interested, but also give them the idea that u dont care if they feel the same way about u

to me playing hard to get equals not interested so i dont pursue so its better to not play
