i was a brainiac before smoking. i was a dolt during smoking. i smoked for 12 years or so. i have been clean for two. i still have serious "brain farts" when i know something, i just can't find it in my head. so yes, i believe you can save your memory, but you have to be a quitter! it takes time and effort to regain your brain power. study the things you forget. do small things that increase your brain use. look words up in a thesaurus to remind yourself of other words that mean similar things..hell, anything to make you process info should help.

Depends entirely on how long and how much you have been smoking. If you are a really heavy user, then the improvements will be less than if you were a casual user. If casual, then, yes, this is reverseable if you stop re damaging your brain. And yes, MJ use does damage brain cells.

memory is created by way of alterations interior the neurons. those alterations require a definite volume of plasticity interior the cellular partitions. The energetic factors in marijuana are lipophilic - it fairly is they draw close to to fat. because of the fact the strategies has a severe fat content and specifically the cellular partitions, that's going to migrate there and soak up long-time era residency. This makes the cells partitions stiffer and much less waiting to undergo the alterations mandatory to create memory.

No once gone always gone. You probably don't remember this either but in D.A.R.E class, Drug Abuse Resistance Education, ........ they informed you that it would kill your brain cells.......and that is what has happened now,......so NO. You can't reverse it. But you can stop smoking now so that you don't damage yourself more.

one of the reasons that you are having memory trouble is the fact that you continue to smoke, if you stop you can regain most, but not all, of your memory abilities.......
