It depends on where the war was fought. If it were fought om Chinese soil, we could hurt them really bad, but it's doubtful that we could 'win'....but if the war was fought closer to home or in the United States, yes we would beat them hands down due to the fact that China's logistical support sukks assse and they would more than likely stretch those weak supply lines to them point of making them very vulnerable to rear attack. They have also don't have a suffiecent navy to pull of an invasion of the US mainland due to not really having the ampibious capabilities.

An "all out war" with China would be over in half an hour after we turned their whole country into a glow in the dark parking lot.

No but I don't think that is the intention of China. I do think they are steadily following a carefully thought out strategy to eventually be the sole superpower on earth.

The U.S. has apopulation of 300,000,000. China has 1,300,000,000. It would be suicide for both sides. On the bright side, it would get the population explosion of bloodsucking humans off the face of the earth, and bring balance back

Not quite yet. They're gaining their power slowly, though. Not just militarily, but they'll be able to cripple our economy soon enough (can you say "$1 TRILLION trade defecit"?).

Plus, it depends on whose turf the war is waged (home field advantage).

No.

The really cannot threaten the US with conventional weapons, while the US can hit any target in China.

In a nuclear war.. we both lose.
