Today for some reason I can't seem to get in the work mode. Some days I do 10-12 hours of work. Other days, like today I say screw it and hop on the internet to Y!A and other sites including new job sites. How many hours a day do you do actual work and why? Do you have work to do you just dont feel like doing, or do you not have any work and are just bored?

Haha, well depends on the day. Some days I am for 10 hours doing work. Days like today, maybe about 1 1/2 -2 hours of real work. I want to work today, I am just not motivated.

I don't really do all that much work (although probably more than what most people would think), but as a 3rd shift cashier at a convenience store, I do have to put with a lot of garbage. A lot of people don't understand that when I refuse a sale of cigarettes or alcohol or ask them to leave the premises because it appears like they might be asking people for money, it's not a personal thing (or racial, and I get some of those accusations too), it's what I have to do to avoid risking losing my job. (and possibly being fined) And I do it working by myself , without anyone to back me up.

I have an eight hours job, but some time I have to work around 12 hours a day. When I compare my work load with my income I think its fair and some time I think they have to pay me more.
