I had this message once before! It was caused by leaving a usb pen drive plugged in to my system. It was trying to boot from the usb drive!
Hope this helps

You definately need the number of that copy of Vista. That is on the back of the CD package and has to be sent to MS by filling out the registration form either on the computer or by mail.

If you did ot receive a CD and book then most likely you have a pirate copy and I would definately tell MS where you bought the computer and the fact you have no CD.

You'd get sensible replies and more of them if you wrote in a more legible style. There are very few bandwidth restrictions any more and certainly none that require the shorthand you are using. Capital letters are included on the keyboard. You just need to use the shift key now and again.

I suggest you take an adult literacy course... provided you qualify as an adult.

check the bios for the boot order and make sure that the hard drive with the OS is first on the list. If that doesn't help you will need to wait for the disk.

This means that your harddrive has no valid boot record - in other words you have no operating system (Vista, XP, etc.) setup to boot. You have no real solution at this point other than to have an operating system CD which you can boot off of to install an operating system.

do your research into windows vista before you install it on your system,

there are lots of problems with it, and people are complaining about what problems they are having,

be it on your head if you install it and you start having problems, if you do then take all these problems to Microsoft let them sort them out, not here

Well all I have to say is an upgrade is taking old bugs out and then putting new bugs in, so good luck.

there should of been a disk with it but if there isn't then sorry mate your cant used your computer unless you uninstall vista then put it on again which is to risky but if you want your computer working then that's what you will have to do
