Here, the apostle Paul was talking about Jesus Christ's death.
Jesus tasted death that “through death he might destroy him that had the power of death. . . the Devil.”
Basically, if we allow Satan to break us of our faith, he has, in essence, put us to death...because without faith, we're nothing. But because of Jesus' sacrifice, he will "destroy" Satan. Hope I've helped.

Scripture says the Devil "holds the powers of death" because our sins brings about spiritual death, and the Devil seeks to enslave and "kill" men's souls with sin.
It's not talking about physical death. Only God gives life and takes it away.
Satanists don't worship God, but they do acknowledge that God exists. They see Him as the enemy of Satan.

Ehm, the Bible is a world of contradictions. And I believe you don't know a single thing about Church of Satan. Laveyans are atheistic Satanists, they worship themselves, not "God" or "Satan". In fact, most sects of Satanism believe that "God" doesn't exist.

Hmmmm....I don't think it says that anywhere in the Bible, buddy. Anyway, I don't think that the church of Satan actually worships the devil. Not sure. I'm not satanic.

No. In the Bible it does not say that satan is God. Paul says not to be surprised at satan's disguises because even he and his demons will masquerade as children of the Light.
