Which part would the soul reside in? The body, or the head?

The function of the soul is to control the mind, will and emotions of a person. Since the body would lack those functions, there would be little or no evidence of the soul in the body. Assuming that his head could remain rational, then the functions of the soul would still be evident in it. But as it is not "physical" in nature, to define where it would reside in the physical realm is impossible.

I believe that man has a soul - with no body, I have to guess that half of the soul will reside in the left nostril for the head, and the other half in the heart, of course, for the body.

Why the left nostril, and not the right? Why not?

at the moment of decapitation..it would migrate from the heart to the earhair....either that or the tip of the nose, and just kind of sit there.
