is it that hard to find a friend or lover, is this the best way becos people can be who they want to be, basically be dis-honest

have you got any idea how hard it is to say in this world: "hey I think I'll have four guys? or gal's ? we live in a straightjacket of social rules these days. Of course that has provided stability to our lives, but it has also prevented us from saying what we truly want. Not that i want four guys, but I also do not want to marry... so then you are automatically not right in yr mind in some parts of the world... :) The net is -in my opinion- a very good way of meeting people, also from very, very far away... that is a good thing too. I would never have met my friends in Brazil and Canada if it werent for the net! :)

Why not? What prevents peope from being dishonest in real life encounters?Honest that net-phobia I see everywhere doesn't make sense,there were paedos,pervs and liars before computers were even invented.Internet is just a tool that has to be used wisely.It isn't more safe to go bar hopping to find someone...

It's just another way to get to know people.
Nothing wrong with that.
Yeah internet people can be dishonest but so can any1.
(btw yeah it can be that hard) :-(

well i suppose some people am really shy,so they use pc to get to no someone,or they may not be able to out because of finances...so next best thing is the pc.. :D
