Do they know the Bible was used as a moral compass to enslave them?
All religious and political leaders used it to show how it was okay and even encouraged to do so.

have you read the Bible that you defend?
Let me refresh your memory ( and yes you can go look it up)
"Slaves, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, in singleness of heart, as you obey Christ; not only while being watched, and in order to please them, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart. "(Eph. 6:5-6)
"Tell slaves to be submissive to their masters and to give satisfaction in every respect; they are not to talk back, not to pilfer, but to show complete and perfect fidelity, so that in everything they may be an ornament to the doctrine of God our Savior". (Titus 2:9-10)

Where did you get the idea that the Bible was used to enslave Blacks? Did you know that Black people were worshiping the God of the Bible for JUST as long ago as the Whites here? And the first Christian Church was actually IN AFRICA?
You should really study pre- and post- Civil War history. Did you know that pre- 1790s, the south was largely secular? Many were Anglican, but for the most part, the Whites in the South were not that religious, let alone Bible-reading and Christian.
The Great Awakening (revivals - Christian) came through the South about that time, and slaves accepted Christ right along with many of the Whites at the time. Then slaves started to (most of the time secretly) meet together, pray, worship God, and cry out to him (ie, the roots of the American Black Church)...... then the Abolitionist movement started.... then the Civil War, and God pressed Lincoln to free the slaves.
Did you know that freeing the slaves immediately was NOT the original plan of the Civil War? But Lincoln only did it because he felt like God would kill him if he didn't? Read up on it!!

First you have to understand that the Bible had nothing to do with enslaving them. It was men and women who made a horrible choice based upon greed, and since most people who are Christians don't actually take the time to read the Bible they are swayed by more unscrupulous men and women who are in the church. The story in Exodus is a very important component of the faith for the African American church because it is a story of 400+ years of slavery for the Jews and the rescuing of them by their God out of the hands of Egypt. Also for the slaves, Sunday was a time in which they could have their church and allowed time from their work. So as a result it was a very hallowed and important component of their week, and this tradition has carried down through the generations.

First off, I believe you're wrong, a lot of African Americans have converted to Islam, you know, the guys who caught the slaves to sell to the white man.
Man has a history of using the bible, or the koran of course, to promote evil. You can take anything out of context, but that doesn't make the bible bad, it simply makes the one who is corrupting the words of the bible evil.
Biblical slavery wasn't what many seem to think it was. If a man was owed money by another, and the person couldn't pay them back, they would basically sell themselves into indentured servitude until the debt was repaid. Jewish slavery was usually more of servitude than slavery and did not last a lifetime. One wasn't born into slavery. Much different than the Americanized version.

How a Muslim criticise the Bible speaking about "slave who?" you got to be kidding, what it is bad in the teaching of Jesus, what it is "slavering" I think that Islam should study much more the philosophy of Jesus that by the way was the exact opposition of Mohamed life.
Humanity girl, humanity, to love all the creatures of Love, to respect the right for life, a heaven of peace and light, not a heaven of sex.
You are very quick to offend people mixing Jesus with slavery but then you make the script of raped virgin when people touch your Mohamed.
Why you don't use your reporting criteria to yourself cause you are very much out of order, they have the same right of you to have the religion they think is the closest to God and you self called "Muslim" which means, rendition and surrender are making a joke of yourself with this question.
You want to report, report then, and next time YOU show some respect. This is the reason why Muslims cause methodically hatred, for the absolute lack of respect and self criticism.

The words of Jesus were intended for oppressed and enslaved people: to give them hope of a better fate in the here-after.
Jesus never foresaw a time when Christianity would be used by the oppressors and slave-owners to persecute others.
However, you are right to the extent that the bible has been used to justify the owning of slaves.

as stated they were forced in so many ways to drop their own beliefs before being able to vote for the first time when the rigth was 1st given to blacks. latinos also were conquered and indoctrinated into this religion withits edited versions. the religion is a good control device that teaches 1 not to think but believe in the words of man and not god obviously. if you told them these truths they would not believe you because the brainwash is self inflicted now and passed down to the next generation. it should be abandoned by all africans everywhere its killing us and dividing us.

Even if it was used this way, it is clear the Bible was wrongly used to justify many atrocities. The Bible does NOT in any way support slavery, a mature person would realize that.

If they are "so fervently Christians" -- then, it seems to me
that, they should be commended for their superior ability
to see through the lies (of those people who choose to
use any religion to persecute people) and be able to
see the truth of the Word of God and the Diety of Christ.
