yes, i am a part of the universal, aka, catholic church but have zero to do with Rome outside of having some relatives and friends who are Roman Catholic. Blessings and thanks for making this important distinction...ahh for a Way the Truth and the Life, which is NOT religion!!

I guarantee you, those first sites and films I mention will knock your socks off if you know your history and have a knack for putting puzzles together! I am still reeling.

But realize this. Most Catholics are nice people. I was brought up in the Catholic Church but left it upon adulthood. The average person is just a nice guy. So are most of the priests as well. So many really are good folk. It is, as usual, the upper levels that .... are not. So I am not Catholic bashing, I am pointing fingers at the Vatican and their Jesuit criminals.
My mother would DIE to read such words coming from me, but the truth is the truth.... alas.

The Roman Catholic Church is the Church..
If you have heard for Roman Empire then you would now that Roman Church is founded by Roman Empire in 300 and some year and all other churches evolved from that one after the fall of Roman Empire.

Scripture reveals this Church to be the one Jesus Christ built upon the rock of Saint Peter (Matt. 16:18). By giving Peter the keys of authority (Matt. 16:19), Jesus appointed Peter as the chief steward over His earthly kingdom (cf. Isaiah. 22:19-22). Jesus also charged Peter to be the source of strength for the rest of the apostles (Luke 22:32) and the earthly shepherd of Jesus' flock (John 21:15-17). Jesus further gave Peter, and the apostles and elders in union with him, the power to bind and loose in heaven what they bound and loosed on earth. (Matt. 16:19; 18:18). This teaching authority did not die with Peter and the apostles, but was transferred to future bishops through the laying on of hands (e.g., Acts 1:20; 6:6; 13:3; 8:18; 9:17; 1 Tim. 4:14; 5:22; 2 Tim. 1:6).
1 Cor. 3:11 - Jesus is called the only foundation of the Church, and yet in Eph. 2:20, the apostles are called the foundation of the Church. Similarly, in 1 Peter 2:25, Jesus is called the Shepherd of the flock, but in Acts 20:28, the apostles are called the shepherds of the flock. These verses show that there are multiple metaphors for the Church, and that words used by the inspired writers of Scripture can have various meanings. Catholics agree that God is the rock of the Church, but this does not mean He cannot confer this distinction upon Peter as well, to facilitate the unity He desires for the Church.

The true name of the Church is the Catholic Church that's what's used in official documents the name roman catholic was invented by Protestants.

"The Church of Christ subsists in the Catholic Church that is governed by the pope and the bishops in union with him."

The Catholic Church is the only church founded by Jesus all other communities were founded by men and much later on.

Um.. all religions come from humans. Whether through Divine inspiration or through greed and misdirection. The RCC is no more or less Christian then anything else out there. If people spent a little more time trying to understand why they do things instead of ASSUMING they know why they do things then you guys wouldn't look like you are throwing each other to the dogs.

Can you give some evidence for your bold claims?

The Catholic Church has existed for 2000 years and Jesus promised in Sacred Scripture that even Hell will not prevail against it.

No other institution has lasted as long. We have an unbroken succession of Popes since St Peter and an unchanged body of doctrine.

The RCC is so cool!, I saw this guy's sketch of Jesus (He looked like a Knight with glowing white eyes) reaching downward on a large number of people!, reaching up for Him, His other hand was pointing to a bright light behind and a bit above Him, He's mouth was open so he might be shouting "Hop in the bright light! Hop in the bright light ya all!" there were also other men wearing the same cool armor, and helping the people up!, bad thing is, I don't know where I saw it anymore!

They are actually a break away church because they wanted to rule the other churches which is NOT how Paul set the system up.
