My fiance and I have saved a little over $1000 for our honeymoon, which we want to have in December. Where are some nice places, out of the states, to go? We can probably go up to $1500.

Try a cruise. They include food and stay as well as travel to other countries. You only pay for certain drinks and food in exclusive restaurants on board. But you can always carry your own booze on board. Good way to build friendships too.
Outside the US, suggest you try Thailand, Laos, Cambodia or Vietnam.

My friends got married last summer and they are a younger couple and didn't have much money to spend on a honey moon. They ended up going to Florida and hopping around down there. They would stay 2 nights in Key West, then go to a different hotel in another part. You can usually get cheap airfare and hotels, especially in December, and it usually is still nice then, not too hot but not cold.

A discount flight and motel to Las Vegas.There are alot of good deals out there if you just look.We have one here where I live for under $300.
