um, how about man?

if i work a job, get money, buy the food that i eat...clearly god is responsible right? *sarcasm oozes from the sentence*

man advanced his own civilization? what part did god play in creating society? i come from my mother and father, and it doesnt matter what my actions be. its by personal choice that i lead a productive, considerate life.

are you saying that you need to have the threat of being judged by an almighty looming over your shoulder to do good? thats a guilt trip you seem to be putting yourself in...im just nice cuz thats the right thing to do.

You do realize, I would hope, that Atheist means someone who doesn't believe any Gods exist?

Who do you thank?

For what? It really depends on the situation. If someone gives me a gift, I will thank them. If someone cheers me up, I'll thank them.

Who do you think made everything ?

No one, silly. The universe never needed a creator.

Who do you think is the First , the Last?

No one.

Who do you think advanced earth's civilization?

Humanity.

Where do you think your from ?

My parents.

If nobody's going to judge you , what matters what your actions be?

Yeah right, people judge each other all the time, we live in a society. It does matter what actions I take because it affects me and it affects the world around me. Unless I lived in complete isolation from the entire world, I don't see how your question makes a lick of sense.

I do not have a god. That's what makes me an atheist.

I thank my parents, my siblings, my nieces and nephews, my coworkers, my friends, people who do any service for me. I am very thankful for all the good people in my life.

I think every thing was made my cosmic happenstance. The big bang created the universe, an accident of nature caused abiogenesis, and evolution advanced and is advancing life on earth, and anywhere else it may exist.

i think there is no first or last, as in existing forever.

I think humanity has advanced, and is advancing civilization.

I am judged every day, by many of the people I mentioned earlier in this answer. My actions matter because they affects other people.

In case you haven't noticed, humans have created a justice system, dedicated to rendering judgment and Justice. It is imperfect, but that is because we all are.

Who do you thank? Depends on who does what & who deserves the thanking..... If someone does something considerate for me I thank them..... after all, they are the ones who did it for me, not your fictional god.

Who do you think made everything ?
Everything? you mean the universe or just everything on earth? I do not believe that the universe OR earth were created by an invisible deity. I believe that only the simple-minded use invisible beings as an explanation for the creation of things or the reason why things happen.

Who do you think is the First , the Last?
Depends on who's racing.....

Who do you think advanced earth's civilization?
It advanced itself... christians don't believe in evolution, rembmer? They believe that everything appeared like magic and that the first humans that appeared on earth looked the same as they look today.

where do you think your from ?
Generally I am from south florida, but more specifically I am the product of my father's sperm combining with my mother's ovum.

If nobody's going to judge you, what matters what your
actions be?
I do not base my actions on what others are going to judge me for. I base my actions on what i believe to be right and wrong. I do not need to believe in an invisible sky daddy to act accordingly while i am here on earth. You don't see me in iraq killing innocent people, do you? I am not a thief or a liar, i do not hurt people or cause pain. I help when i can and I do what i can. I don't need some fictional god & his book of tall tales to tell me how to live my life.

The people of those civilizations.

where do you think your from ?
Sperm cell implanted into an egg.

If nobody's going to judge you , what matters what your actions be?
I believe good is only good when their is no reward.

No one made everything. It came into being gradually, by means of stellar energy and mutual attraction over many billions of years. The first was probably a microbe. The last doesn't exist yet. I'm comfortable saying that I don't know who advanced earth's civilization. Maybe we're very lucky, and we -slowly- figured things out for ourselves, or maybe the seed of self conciousness and reasoning was bestowed on us by a superior being. And I don't mean an omnipotent, omnicient "God;" probably something more along the lines of what we may ultimately become if we don't destroy ourselves first. And my actions matter not because I want to "go to heaven," that's selfish. But becasue I want to be a productive, not destructive, part of the human organism that currently reisdes on this planet. Because I think we are capable of great and amazing things as a species, and when more of us that think this way, when we finally start pouring our energy and resources into acheiving greatness, the sooner we'll see these potential acheivements come to fruition.

1.) I have no god, hence the term "Atheist".
2.) I thank people (people who exist) who help me do things.
3.) Nature made everything.
4.) First and last... I don't know, my mom is first and some chick I hate is last.
5.) Time advanced civilization.
6.) We evolved.
7.) Do you need a god to be a good person? You're saying that you would be a horrible person if someone wasn't judging you? I'm a good person for the sake of being a good person, I don't need rewards or punishments to know what I should and should not do.

I thank whoever deserves to be thanked. Ex: I thank my mom for giving birth to me.

I don't think any particular entity made everything. If it did, who made him?

What is all this "the first the last" stuff? I bet you what ever was first won’t be the last...

Human beings advanced Earth's civilization (at least human civilization). Give credit where credit is due.

I judge myself, and trust me, I'm my toughest critic. I would like to hope that most people don't just do good because they know their sky daddy is watching, but instead do good because they know deep down that they should. I want to live in a world where people are kind to each other, so I am kind to people.

ATHEISTS DO NOT HAVE A GOD!

1. They thank those who have done nice things for them.

2. They believe everything came about naturally, through a process called abiogenesis.

3. This first and last stuff is religious mumbo-jumbo.

4. Human beings, though the evolution of ideas and technology, have advance civilization.

5. People are from their parents.

6. Being a decent human being is valued not because some God is going to kick your butt, but because it is RIGHT. Seriously, are you saying that without God you worship a riock and give your parents the finger on your way out to murder your neighbor, rape his wife, nick his tv set, and then blame some other guy for it? Atheists use their own sense of morality because it is right, not because they are afraid of being punished.

Atheists don't have gods. In fact, that's what the word "atheism" means.

I thank whoever did something worth being thankful for. I don't think any "who" made everything. The First and the Last what? Earth doesn't have "civilization," humans have civilization, and I think it's pretty obvious that we advanced it ourselves. I am from my parents and the town they chose to raise me in. My actions effect other people, so of course they matter.
