This guy has been liking me for a long time. But recently, he went out with my best friend. They act all mushy and sweet in front of me and it makes me a little uncomfortable. He says he likes her a lot.. on his blog.. in his personal message etc. I want to believe that. However, he keeps shooting me glances, and staring at me, and still shows signs that he likes me. I try to ignore them, but its hard not to notice. I'm sort of confused and its getting annoying. What is he doing?

He probably doesn't know what he wants. Next time, just walk up to him and ask what he is doing. He is probably not aware that he is that obvious.

It sounds like he is trying to work his hand meaning play both sides of the field. He likes you but you are not moving on his advancements in the meantime he is hawking your best friend to either make you jealous or to make sure if he stirkes out with you he has a back up in your friend. I would suggest you talk with your friend advise her of the situation and if she is the true friend you think she is she will let him know that she can not have anything with him but friendship because you mean more than anything he could offer.

Sorry chica, you've fallen victim to the classic "Footstool" approach. Basically, the guy pretends to like you, shoots for your friend, and if your friend rejects him he claims he was just being flirty and he liked you the whole time.

If I'm right (and I am), he'll get more flirty once your friend gives him the kiss of death. At this point you should promptly tell him he's ugly and his package is too small, and sever all ties with him. Go to church instead of wasting your time on douchebags like this guy.

How long has this guy been liking you? He's trying to be a snake at the expense of your best friend. If she's realy your best friend, can you deal with that? Tell him to take a hike.

If he really liked you he would have asked you out instead of your best freind. Stay away from this one, he is trouble and maybe your best freind should think twice about this one or is she a true best freind in the first place.

He is trying to make you jealous by using your best friend...IGNORE HIM..... soon he will see that it doesnt have an effect on you and he will dump your best friend ...then you will have to be there for her..what a creep..boys come and go, best friends stay forever. Dont let a boy come inbetween you and your best friend.

He's playing head games. Stay away from him. If he's flirting while he's dating a girl....he'll do it to you to if you go out with him. He isn't worth it.
