i dont think its bad luck but something a bit more original would be better! ive a tatoo myself and wish id put more thought into it now! names are a little tacky dont ya think? go for something ur passionate about thats my advice!

I would not. Reason if you break up your stuck with this guys name on your body for the rest of your life. Most people put there children's name on there body not there partner. If you want a tattoo make sure that you get something you really like do not settle, put it in a place that if you need to wear a formal dress this tattoo is not killing the whole dress. Have it done by a professional who you have seen his work. Give this some thought as you can not take it back after it is done.

My boyfriend's cousin has his last name tattooed in his back. It's on the right side and goes all the way down. The last name is Curtin so he made the letters nice and big...the tattoo came out awesome!!!
You know what....if you wanna get your last name tattooed...go for it. You are not a girl so it won't change (now that would be stupid) so you don't have to worry about that...and it's your body so...it's up to you!

i wouldn't say that it's bad luck but it just seems like most people who get their name tattooed on them put no thought into a tattoo. are you going to forget your name? are you doing it so strangers will always know who you are?
(by the way, my first tattoo was my name in korean but it has been covered up and i have since learned to think out and plan tattoos well)
so no, it's not bad luck but what's the point?

ur a guy..... Go for it, make sure you can cover it when you need to. The only people i would advise aganst are women. Mine, everyone thought my last name was my ex husbands last name....which would upset him cause he comes from a very german family....Im scottish...with a scottish maiden name and my crest and plaid tattood on my back. And if a woman tattoos her married last name,welll the obvious risk of divorce. Hope that helped.
