It's called life. Learn from your mistakes after admitting it to yourself and move on. If you offended someone in the process,Apologize. How do you cope with it? One day at a time..That's all anyone can ask of you, Always do your best and you'll be fine..

I did that a few weeks ago. When I understood it was the wrong thing to do I did the following:
1. Waited for a few days
2. Called and apologized to the people I hurt and arranged to meet to talk about it.
3. When we met I told my side of the story and said I won't do that again and offered to answer any questions they had.
4.Promised myself not to do the same mistake again.

P.S. I was also the good girl but I learned that you have to make some mistakes to live for you not just for others.

Yup! I started writing childrens books for my kids (which I dont have yet but hope to have in a few years) and I thought it was brilliant but when I let my husband read it I felt stupid. I felt stupid telling people I am writing books for my kids which dont exist, how did I cope with it? I told myself that in context of what I intend the books for it is brilliant indeed. Everyone has their opinions but ultimately its up to you to have the last say and NEVER doubt your choices. You arent given circumstances without the tools to complete the situation.

I think the best philosphy in life is - "no regrets". The old cliche "learn from your mistakes" is sound. You can't forget what you've done and act as if it never happened, but you can certainly learn from the experience and move on a stronger person for it. Never take yourself too seriously.

Every person make errors and the only way to grow up is first to admit that you made an error and then correct it for the future, this is called experience and wisdom.

Yes... tonight I made a casserole that I thought was correct, but when I ate it... it was extremely stupid. I coped by eating it anyway.

Just move on because if you want to get anywhere in life making a fool of yourself is absolutely necessary.

well.. humans are not perfect.. if you did something stupid.. then dont do it again..

so you're sad of what you did.. an obvious reaction for something you did.. but.. thats the past.. just accept it and do immediate steps to correct it..

Tell yourself that everyone makes mistakes. As long as you learn something from it, it is no big deal.
