Chastity is remaining sexual pure. It would include being faithful to your spouse once you are married. So it would combat the sin of adultery.
It also means to remain pure before marriage, so that you do not have to offer your spouse "used merchandise" on your wedding night. That would combat the sin of fornication.
But it also includes being "pure" in thought and language. I have seen too many men who would never "cheat" on their wives physically, but have no problem with off-color jokes, flirting, course language, etc. All of those fall under "chastity" - meaning to treat sex as a dlean, honorable, holy, and special act, reserved to express love and intimacy between a husband and wife. In that, it would combat lust.

Chastity is the mastery of our sexual desires. Therefore it combats the sin of lust.
Chastity does NOT mean "no sex." Everyone must be chaste whether married or single.
Mastering our passions has a very broad application and it's not just about staying pure before marriage. It's about staying pure ALWAYS, in body and mind.
For a priest this would mean honoring his vow of celibacy in thought and action.
For the single it means refraining from sex before marriage and keeping thoughts pure.
For the married, it means not lusting for someone we are not married to. And it means treating the gift of sex with respect. We ought not to use our spouse simply for sexual gratification.
So there are many sins against chastity. They are:
1. Lust - inordinate desires
2. Masturbation
3. Fornication - sexual relations between an unmarried man and an unmarried woman - even if they have the intention to marry in the future.
4. Pornography
5. Prostitution - the involvement of women, men, children or adolescents in sexual activity for money.
6. Rape

Seventh of seven virtues is "charity", not chastity.
Only "charity never faileth". Chastity love oft fails.
1Cor 8:1; 13:1,2,3,4,8,13; 14:1; 16:14; Col 3:14;
1Thess 3:6; 1Thess 1:3; 1Tim 1:5; 2:15; 4:12;
2Tim 2:22; 3:10; Titus 2:2; 1Peter 4:8; 5:14;
2Peter 1:7; 3John 1:6; Jude 1:12; Rev 2:19.
As for true charity, it's spiritual sobriety,
not another drink of awful lawful law law.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Chastity is a matter of:
SELF DISCIPLINE and
SELF CONTROL.
Chastity does not necessarily only apply to sex!
Chastity is a matter of keeping one's self "pure."
One can also keep one's self pure in:
What they eat,
What they drink,
Personal hygiene,
Matters of speech,
Business transactions and
Any other action or thought that can be corrupted.
It combats the deadly sin of LUST when it is defined only as being applicable to sex.
The overall application of chastity also combats the deadly sin of GREED.
Emotional chastity combats the deadly sins of WRATH and PRIDE.
Dietary chastity combats the deadly sin of GLUTTONY.

Chastity means no sex. To keep your virtue, to treat your body like a temple like God meant it to be, respect yourself. I'm not sure about the deadly sin, God forgave prostitutes.

Chastity should be the attitude of taking one's sexuality seriously and not throwing 'pearls before swine'. Since I don't believe in 'deadly' sins I will guess and say--lasciviousness.
