Vista doesn't use Outlook Express, it comes with "Windows Mail" instead. Click Start, All Programs, and the click "Windows Mail" The interface is pretty much the same as Outlook Express, but it functions a bit more like Outlook.

If you have exported your address book from your old computer to something like a thumb drive, then you will be able to import it into Microsoft Mail.

Microsoft now includes in Vista this "Windows Mail" which is just like Outlook Express, I'd say is way better that Express.

Do Not use Outlook Express, because is full of flaws and security holes.

You should try Mozilla Thunderbird, it has a amazing Spam Filter, RSS News, and It's FREE.

Yes, it is free as part of Windows 98, 2000 and XP.
Outlook and Outlook Express are not the same thing.
Outlook Express is a stripped down version of Outlook.
But I certainly wouldn't advise using either one as a email client because they are both full of security holes.
From what I have heard Windows Mail client in Vista is not much better.
Thunderbird is a much better email client.
