Yes. Definitely. But not the second one( Christian to Muslim ). It is like jumping from Fire into the pond.

eh.......no, both are sound faiths but Muslim religion is too much of a hot topic right now so converting might not be a good idea. once America and Iraq break down to peaceful terms Muslim faith wont be such a hot topic.

I made a jump from life full of doubts and sins into the true and sensefull one..(Ex christian converted to Islam)

No, it's not. If you study both religions you will find that they are indeed similar to each other. One just has jesus as the "messiah".
