In my understanding, He is a merciful God when we are still living but when we die and meet him face to face, its all dealing with a fair judge. thats why they always urge us to repent before life is too short to regret.

Read this and then ask yourself that question again.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

A medical doctor provides a description of the crucifixion of Jesus.

AFter Jesus was brutally beaten and scorged with the cat of nine tails beyone human recognition, the cross is placed on the ground, and the exhausted Jesus is quickly thrown backwards, with His shoulders against the wood. The soldier feels for the depression at the front of the wrists, not the palm of the hand. He drives a heavy, square wrought-iron naiil through the wrist deep into the wood. Quickly he moves to the other side and repeats the action, being careful not to pull the arms too tightly, but to allow some flex and movement. The cross is then lifted into place. The left foot is pressed backward against the right foot, and with both feet extended, toes down, a nail is driven through the arch of each, leaving the knees flexed. the victim is now crucified.

As He slowly sags down with more weight on the nails in the wrists, and not on the hands as believed and depected in pictures and on crosses, excruciating fiery pain shoots along the fingers and up the arms to explode in the brain--the nails in the wrist are putting pressure on the median nerves. As He pushes Himself upward to avoid this stretching torment, He places the full weight on the nail through His feet. Again He feels the searing agony of the nail tearing through the nerves between the bones of His feet.

As the arms fatigue, cramps sweep through His muscles, knotting them with deep relentless, and throbbing pain. With these cramps comes the inability to push Himself upward to breathe. Finally, carbon dioxide builds up in the lungs and in the blood stream, and the cramps partially subsided. Spasmodically, He is able to push Himself upward to exhale and bring in life-giving oxygen. Hours of limitless pain, cycles of twisting, joint-renting cramps, intermittent partial asphyxiation, searing pain as tissue is torn from His lacerated back as He moves up and down against rough timber. Then another agony begins: a deep, crushing pain begins deep in the chest as the pericardius slowly fills with serum and begins to compress the heart.

It is now almost over. The loss of tissue fluids has reached a critical level. The compressed heart is struggling to pump heavey, thick sluggish blood into the tissues. The tortured lungs are making frantic effort to gasp in small gulps of air. He can feel the chill of death creeping through His tissues. Finally, He allows His body to die.

All this the Bible records with the simple words, "And they crucified Him" Mark 15:24

For those of you who can read this graphic indepth description, of how Jesus willingly gave up His life, so you can have eternal life, but still reject His free gift of salvation by refusing to accept Him for this sacrifice. You will not only have to live with that choice, but will surely die by it as well.

If you wish to accept Jesus as your savior today, take one minute of your time and say this prayer...

Here is your way to obtain salvation.
If you want to accept Christ, you can ask Him to be your Savior and Lord by praying a prayer like this:

"Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always." In the precious name of Jesus, amen

Did you pray this prayer? I pray your answer was YES

Think is, he's NOT a god - he's the son of a god and a human, making hima demi-god at best, along the line of Hercules - got some abilities that are extra human, but still stuck with the demands of the human body, including aging and death.

You aren't facing jesus when you die - you're facing god, and most of all, you are facing yourself. You are supposed to account for the actions in your life; they will be replayed for you in full detail. YOU are always your own worst judge, and what harsher judgement than making you face up to your less than glorious moments in life? making you look at how others saw your behavior, rather than through your own filter - won't that be mortifying for some who think themselves great Christians?

Jesus is merely there to be a moderator for you - AFTER death - helping you to deal with this past, interceding with god if you truly have repented your past behavior.

But I wouldn't have a doubt that he'd be just as harsh if you deserved it.

Here's the thing - don't act in a way that you would regret, then you won't have things to repent and regret at the end of your life.

Jesus is God the Son. If we repent of our sins and accept Him as our Savior, we will go to heaven. As for the judgement, you should not be afraid of that. As a Christian, we would want to live godly and our desire would be to become more like Christ. Doing that, at the day of judgement, God will say:"Well done, good and faithful servant." Our works do not get us into heaven, however, the works we do as Christians will be judged accordingly. So if you are a Christian but never share God's love with anyone and you keep to yourself and you do not live in God's will, then yes, you would be judged accordingly.

God and Jesus are 2 separate beings. God is the one you will have to look into the eyes of. Jesus is his 'co- captain'.

As you have the right to obey his father, Jesus has the right to judge. Judgement is also the place where your reward is found and issued.
Jesus told us he; is the way, the light of the world. Why not take advantage of his offer.

I believe upon death God's judgement will be to show us blessings we could have had in life had we not been sinful. For those of us who accepted Christ, Jesus will say "He was with me, I died for His sins and He accepted my grace..." I then will be permitted to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus is not and never was a god. He was a man. I will even go so far to say he was probably a prophet.

No one is judged except by themselves.

we are given a childlike understanding of the discourse between god and ourselves so that we may be better kept as children by our governments and churches.
