I'm a 20 year old, currently living in Italy. I work for a little company in the Lumber Industry and do the Purchasing in America. I've been working with them for a year and a half now. The problem however is that the pay is really bad, and i've been looking all over for a new job, but it is REALLY hard here to find any good paying jobs!! What i would LOVE to do is move back to the states and find something there. What I'm not sure about is what field to go into, or what types of jobs i could get without having a college degree. Can anyone help me out with some ideas?!

If I were you I would at least get certification in something or take some classes at a local college just to add more value towards yourself. If you are a good salesperson, try to get a job in sales where you are paid with commission. Or you can go into the health care field. Take a one year LPN program, you'll have a job that's in high demand and that pays decent as well.

Search at www.monster.com or www.hotjobs.com to see the latest job postings and to get an idea of the kinds of jobs currently available? What do you like to do? Financial Services is a great professional its a service that everyone uses and the jobs are plentiful. Search "Banking" every town has a Bank. And they pay is pretty good and you get training on the job, good benefits, and opportunities for advancement. Take a look at www.wellsfargo.com (Careers) and www.bankofamerica.com (Careers) and www.wachovia.com (Careers) to name a few locations or you can go to www.fdic.gov to take a look at the Banks in your state or city? They list websites there. You want to perform a job that you would be happy in most so pursue that and you should land a good paying job waiting for you! GOOD LUCK! :-)

I have a great idea, actually! Go to college and get the degree. If there were high paying jobs out there for everyone without a degree, then people wouldn't be going to college. Sorry, but that's the truth of the matter.

Start buying switchblades over there and sell them to people through the mail back in the U.S.. You could make alot of money doing that and its legal as long as you don't mail like 10 at a time.
