Meditation...and any c.d.'s on doing mediation...?
also what about c.d.'s on calming and relaxing too?
Lastly, are there any c.d.'s out there with really relaxing voices on c.d.'s that would mellow me out? I need something like this to help me sleep!

thanks!

On Beliefnet.com you can actually sample and listen to some meditation.

Then you can decide exactly what type of meditation and the voice of the person (which is important).\

There is also a catalog that has many meditation Cd's. You can view online and request a catalog to be sent by mail.

hope this helps,
many blessings,

Hi there,

A great DVD to help teach you how to/give you practice with meditation is AM and PM Meditation with Rodney Yee:
http://www.amazon.com/M-P-M-Meditation-Maritza/dp/B000089742/ref=sr_1_3/102-6095412-1945738?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1179239996&sr=1-3

As for a CD, I really like Pure Meditation with Pema Chodron. I find her voice to be very soothing.
http://www.amazon.com/Pure-Meditation-Pema-Chodron/dp/1591792622/ref=sr_1_15/102-6095412-1945738?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1179240234&sr=8-15

And lastly, for mellow music to fall asleep to, I love The Lama's Chants:
http://www.amazon.com/Lamas-Chants-Lama-Gyurme/dp/B0007X9UEC/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-6095412-1945738?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1179240294&sr=8-1

Hope this helps. Good luck! :)

I'm more inclined to take a good pill or two than to invest time in alternative relaxation methods. Have you considered see a counselor? Sedative drugs, anti-anxiety medications and sleep aids are all safe and effective ways to achieve a better balance of your daily mood. Think about it.
