how can we say that we know god through the lens of mankind?
i see no evidence that god has been afforded a true voice, only a voice convoluted by the efforts of men to translate, or create.

God didn't "beat, torment, and aflict..." His Son. We did. Yes, He could have stopped it but that is the whole point, it was a sacrifice on His part too, because He loved the rest of us so much.

Of course not.
But if that child chooses to run away, torment himself, live in drugs, dirty, crime, etc., there is often little you can do about it. Those who end up in "hell" are people who have made that choice. They have rejected God, run from him, and refused his offer of heaven. God does not torment anyone in hell. They torment themselves with their own sins, hates, rehection, disobedience, etc.
Rather than beat, torment, and afflict his child, God came down in human form and to the beating, the torment and the affliction for them. so they don't have to. Or have you forgotten about the cross? If they refuse it, what more can he do?

Justice is not always considered the 'nice' thing to do,
but more often than not, it's the only right thing to do.
God is the Ultimate Judge and no one can question His Judgement. All we can do is accept our sentence and
spend eternity where God decides we should....Nice
Place or not so nice !

You decide. If you were going to be killed and someone stepped in and took your place, would you call him a nice person? I wouldn't. And that is exactly what Jesus Christ did for you. God sent Him to die on the cross for you so that you could spend eternity with God.

if I had a big enemy and decided to punish him severely... I told all my children that whoever doesn't acknowledge me as their parent will be lost along with my enemy.. I even go ahead and give my life so that they dont suffer with that enemy...
Then suddenly am surprised they aren't afraid, they follow the enemy.. they infact question my credibility, my position in that house and claim that my enemy is fairer than me yet I offered my own life for them....
what else is there for me to do...

God is not a person, nor is He/She an idiot.
Organized religion with it's judgmental punishing God is little more than a lie about God.

FAQ: How could a loving God cast people into hell?
"And I have the keys of hell and death, signifies that He alone can save. By "keys" is signified the power of opening and shutting; here the power of opening hell, that man may be brought forth, and of shutting, lest, when he is brought forth, he should enter again. For man is born in evils of all kinds, thus in hell, for evils are hell; he is brought out of it by the Lord, to whom belongs the power of opening it. That by "having the keys of hell and death," is not meant the power of casting into hell, but the power of saving, is because it immediately follows after these words:
Behold, I am alive for ages of ages;
by which is signified that He alone is eternal life (n. 60); and the Lord never casts anyone into hell, but man casts himself. By "keys" is signified the power of opening and shutting, in Revelation also (3:7; 9:1; 20:1; also in Isa. 22:21, 22; in Matt. 16:19; and in Luke 11:52). The power of the Lord is not only over heaven, but also over hell; for hell is kept in order and connection by oppositions against heaven; for which reason, He who rules the one must necessarily rule the other; otherwise man could not be saved; to be saved is to be brought out of hell" (Apocalypse Revealed n. 62).
