There's nothing really wrong with them, but there's nothing great about them either. Many have a lot of sodium.

Try fruit flavored soda waters sweetened with splenda instead- it's been linked that diet sodas cause as much if not more weight gain than regular sodas because it causes an insatiable craving, so people drink twice as many than they should.

Good luck

No, you really shouldn't. The carbonation bloats you. Artificial sweeteners are not good for you. If you get a headache without caffeine-dont worry, suffer through them for 2-4 days and then you won't even miss it. Drink lots of water. Drink about 2 cups as soon as you get up and before eating anything else. If you just have to have something try tea instead.

It's not the brightest idea, Diet sodas are filled with other fake sugars and aspartame. so diet soda is prolly not a good idea on a diet

They have no nutritional value, and they do have sodium and aspartame, which aren't good for you. They also have been linked to cellulite. Try instead seltzer (0 sodium) with a splash of fruit juice. You get the vitamins of the juice, without all the calories of straight juice. Or just club soda with a wedge of lemon or orange.

As part of my diet, I'm off of caffeine, and am doing low-sodium as well, so I'm enjoying Diet Rite, which has no sodium and no caffeine. My favorite flavors are Kiwi Strawberry and Red Raspberry.

(I do not work for Diet Rite, in case you were wondering!)
