If you're an atheist, or even member of some other religion, you wouldn't even believe in the existence of sin (and atheists wouldn't believe in either god or sin). If you TRULY believe that, then no, it's not a sin. Nobody can prove there IS such a thing, much less a "god".

Don't let people around you (the believers) badger, threaten, humiliate and hound you into "believing", if you're just starting to explore this. It can be scary and you will have doubts if you're on the right path. (I became an atheist at 14 and it was frightening to defy everything I'd been taught, i.e. Catholicism). People, like my family, went nuts over it, too, but I held fast and am very glad I did.

Do some soul-searching (Yes, some atheists believe in a type of "Soul"), get some experience under your belt, talk to others and THEN decide, whatever that decision is, but let it be YOUR decision, not someone else's!

Best of luck to you.

Ok kids, go to the library and check out a dictionary.
An ATHEIST does not recognize sin, only moral laws which serve the common interest, so the only thing they have to look forward to is oblivion anyway, do not mess with them until you are a little more grown.
Again, if any of these words are confusing to you check the magic dictionary and leave the preaching to an ordained doctor of Theology.
Much love to your Moms.

An athis? What is an athis?

I think bad spelling should be a sin, and I'm not even a believer.

I'd be more worried about whether or not murdering the English language is a sin.

No, because God is purposely hiding from us to make us different, the important thing is helping others.

Denying the existence of God is sinful, but we all committ sins. Jesus died to save us from them.
