I woke up at one this morning with a dry, sore throat that hurt really bad. That I got from sneezing. I was also really nauseous and ended up, about 20 minutes later, puking. after that it was really hard to sleep, i was having bad stomach pains, cramps, couldn't roll onto my side without getting really nauseous. eventually i fell back asleep and woke up at 5:50 with some more nausea that ended in diarreha. Again just now more diarreha followed directed by throwing up the last bits in my stomach.
does this sound familiar to anyone? I'm just trying to figure out what wrong, sorta, before i go to the doctor(which i will anyways, either my g.p.(expensive) or the college nurse(free) depending).

These abdominal symptoms manifest themselves in many different ailments. Maybe you have stomach flu, or ate something that didn't agree with you -- a type of food poisoning. If it lasts more than 24 hours, you should definitely seek medical help to rule out more serious conditions, such as appendicitis. Meantime, try and keep down fluids so you don't get dehydrated. Weak tea, cola, gingerale or clear broth usually help to settle things down. If you do feel like eating later on, try soft bland foods like applesauce, jello or toast. Hope you feel better soon.

Go to the college nurse and if she recommends you go to the g.p., go immediately. Even being nauseous, try to drink Gatorade or water. You'll get even sicker if you get dehydrated. Also might try Pepto Bismol and Peppermint tea. Sounds like you might have food poisoning, a virus, so many things can cause your symptoms but I would be more concerned with resolving the issue thann what caused it. Hope you get to feeling better!

This looks to be infective diarrhoea. Get your stool tested. If Amoeba positive in stools, that should be treated. Take a lot of ORS. It restores the electrolytes or salts lost in stools. Take ispaghula husk in yogurt. It is very good for stomach problems. It absorbs the toxin liberated by bacteria.

I have kinda the same thing. My diarrhea is real bad. I've had it like 3times a day for the past four days! My stomach keeps getting cramped and I feel like I'm bout to throw up but haven't. I read on line that the symptoms your feeling and me as well is just diarrhea that it could last up to four weeks! If you find out it's something else let me know cause my bf tells me to go to the docs.

Sounds like Rotavirus. If you had food poisoning, you wouldn't have had the sneezing and sore throat.
Stay hydrated, and see your GP for some prescription anti-nausea medicine. It will really help.
Hope you feel better soon!

First, go to the college nurse. You may have eaten something that didn't agree with you. You may have a virus.
The worst would be an ulcer if your stomach was in pain that much, or gallbladder problem.

Sounds like food poisoning. But I would get to a doctor. Colleges are very unhealthy places. Better safe that sorry.
