I like the Mesquite trees.
They are wonderful trees. You know when the last freeze of the season happens because they bloom, they make excellent fence posts, lots of shade, the seed pods are edible and can be ground into flour, they live for hundreds of years and you really can't BBQ without them, just ask any Texan.

Jacaranda. It's a pretty green leaf tree that gets covered in lavendar blossoms in the spring.

I love the Colorado Blue Spruce. When matured it is a lovely shade of bluish green. Wow.

I love them all the same, but there is something about the way that weeping willows look when their branches dangle in the water and wave in the wind.
