THe 60g is standard anymore.

But you'll need that additional space as more and more games become available via download only.

The PS3, with the much higher graphics resolution capabilities will require more space for the games than some of the older consoles.

I'd recommend getting a newer one anyway since the 20g represent the '1.0' version of the system that had the bugs in it... if you get a 60g you know you're getting the updated system.

You still might be able to find a few 20g units on store shelves, but you will have to look. If you are already going to spend $499 on a 20g version, bite the bullet and pony up the extra $100 for the 60. You will be glad you did. Besides, Sony is rumored to be preparing an 80g version for the end of 2007 or early 2008. But to be honest, you should wait. There are not enough good games out there for the system yet, and the on-line for the PS3 is poor at best. I would wait a few more months and see what games come out.

Good for you!! I have a 60g, and I would recommend that one. Also, I would like to wish you luck if you decide to get the 20g, because I have never seen one in stores. The 60g is the only one being shipped out nowadays. Have fun.
