Lake Eyre began filling in March this year so it will still have a lot of water in June. There will be millions of pelicans, stilts and terns nesting on the lake. There is a Lake Eyre Yacht Club that has outings when the lake has water in it.

The best way to see it would be with an organised tour. Google "Lake Eyre tours" and see what comes up or contact any Adelaide travel agent and ask. If you can include a flight over the lake or a hot air balloon trip, do so

More than likely it will be completely dry. If it is dry now, it is likely to be drier in June. A good spot for a land speed record attempt, land yachts or kite buggying.

When I was there in late March this year it was very full. It's usually dry so you can walk on it. I suppose it'll still be full in June.
