I bought a new entertainment center at Ikea and am missing half of it. after getting home and trying to assemble it I realized that i only have 1 of 2 boxes needed to assemble it and i no longer have the reciept. what can i do?

normally, if you have the instructions, there is probably a 1-800 number to call. if you don't, try calling the store they may say they can help you out. if neither of those options work, email ikea and complain they may try to rectify the problem then. good luck!

Most likely you paid with a credit card or a check. If you did either they can pull up your info. Or if they asked for your phone number or your address when you paid for it they can pull up your info without the receipt. Most stores have a way of seeing if you truly paid for it without having a receipt so go to the store and check. Or if you don't want to drive all the way there, then call and check first.

Go back to the store and ask for the 2nd box. They should recognise their goods. If they refuse, leave the 1st box there and say they can have it, they may change their mind.

find the reciept.and take it back to get another one.
