my period isn't comming down every month like it's supposed do. i'm lucky if i get it 3 months from now! the doc brought my period down once with a hormone and then it stopped comming again, it won't come down on its own and no matter what i do as far as working out and eating right, the scale won't budge! after 14 pounds thats it! should i do 2 20 minute a day workouts? once in the morning and once in the evening? oh and should i be weight training? my brother just got this weight machine that i used when i was in highschool and i'm not sure if i should be using it! i'm only 23 too! so i shouldn't be having that much of a problem losing weight!

Losing weight does not happen overnight. The average weight to lose in a week is 1-2 lbs. You might have lost it easy when you were younger, but it does get harder with age. But dont make excuses! Just keep doing what you're doing. Set small goals for youself. Say, "Okay, I'm going to lose 5 pounds within the next 12-14 days" And once you hit that goal, you'll realize that you can do it. I think you're doing the right thing as far as taking it slow... Don't ever over-do it.. cuz then you could end up tearing/ripping muscles or sending your body into overdrive. Good luck and don't lose hope! Give it some time! =)

It takes at least 30min of cardiovascular exercise to get the blood pumping to burn fat anything under that you'll usually just loosing water weight. Talk to your doctor before starting any type of exercise program and because you are caring a lot of weight you probably should try to look into get a fitness instructor so that your efforts can be more effective.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Try excersizing on the urban rebounder. It helps a lot. Are you stressed out? Do some meditation fifteen minutes a day. That also helps. Hope this helps and have a great day

I am not sure what you mean by your time of the month is coming down every 3 months. Do you mean that you are only having your period once every three months? Then you say the doctor is giving you meds to bring it down but it only came down once. What does that mean?????????
